Vicki Iseman, a lobbyist with Alcade & Fay, made headlines recently when The New York Times reported that Iseman had developed a close relationship with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and that McCain had taken frequent flights on a corporate jet owned by one of Iseman's clients. The client, Paxson Communications (now called Ion Media Networks), hoped McCain would assist in getting the FEC to approve a television deal, and shortly after one of the flights - from a Florida fundraiser with some of Iseman's clients to Washington, D.C. - McCain did write letters to the FEC asking for swift consideration of the Paxson matter.[1] Other Iseman clients include CACI, BearingPoint, Telemundo and Univision.[2]
